The University of Wisconsin System is internationally recognized as one of the largest and most prestigious systems of higher education in this country.

From its inception, its most important mission has been to reach every corner of the state and serve the needs of every resident in Wisconsin, with the firm belief that

The Reach Out/Alcanza project aspires to further this vision by providing online educational opportunities anytime, anywhere to the most economically disadvantaged members of our communities, and thus expand the "Wisconsin idea" so that the boundaries of our university become the boundaries of our nation!

UMOS is a national organization working for the advancement and well being of economically disadvantaged people in our society. Through public and private partnerships across the country we are Building Better Futures for those we are privileged to serve.

We are pleased to be a partner in the Reach Out program and take an active role in helping migrant workers and their families achieve more through education.

Since 1965, UMOS has been at the forefront of creating and implementing vital programs and services that have helped to change people’s lives and help them achieve their full potential.

With Reach Out, we are able to extend access to advanced technologies and online educational resources that will enable adults and teenagers to continue their education and create a better life.

MPFA (Midwest Food Processors Association) understands the vital role of education in the lives and success of its members’ employees and their businesses. For this reason, MFPA is proud to sponsor and partner with the Reach Out initiative, a Learning Anytime Anywhere Partnership (LAAP) in its mission to enable education in the workplace so employees and their families can learn, contribute, and prosper.

As partners, we offer a variety of workplace sites where employees can access accredited online courses to continue their education and improve their knowledge and skills. This is one way our 19-member association representing over 80 facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota is working to improve our industry, promote safety, and enhance the communities in which we operate.

DPI is pleased to partner in the Reach Out program. Through Reach Out and other initiatives, we are able to innovatively fulfill our Title I Migrant Education Mandate. We are excited to participate in the certification of course offerings needed to complete a high-school degree or GED. Our skilled Reach Out Program Coordinators help students get started and provide the important mentoring and advice that can help every one of them to succeed.

Promoting literacy throughout Jefferson County by providing tutoring to adults needing basic literacy skill improvement and those learning English as a Second Language (ESL), enabling them to function more effectively on the job and in everyday life.
